Gabriella Rudman

Gabriella is a warm and down-to-earth psychologist with an open, collaborative and non-judgmental approach. She believes that the therapy room is a safe place where respect and empathy take priority, and aims to empower clients to live lives that are rich and meaningful. She is passionate about working alongside clients as they navigate the complexities of life, and approaches her work with an attitude of shared humanity that balances respect and humour.

Gabriella practices from a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) background, integrating other evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Existential approaches.

Gabriella completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of New South Wales and currently practices as a Clinical Psychology Registrar.

Gabriella has experience working in university clinics, private practice and NSW Health settings including the Royal North Shore Hospital Chronic Pain clinic, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Drug and Alcohol Service, and The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse where she provides psychological support to cancer patients and their families.

Gabriella has worked with diverse populations presenting with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, grief, health anxiety, adjustment issues, eating disorders, substance use, relationship issues, and chronic pain.

Gabriella has worked in one-on-one and group settings with children, adolescents, couples, families and adults. She is particularly interested in working with adults and adolescents who are experiencing difficulty coping with life stress, adjustment, anxiety, and existential issues.
