Dan Macdonald is a Clinical Psychologist. He offers appointments on Thursdays and Fridays.

Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Western Sydney University. He is also a member of the Australian Psychology Society (APS).

Dan has a focus on providing empathetic support to individuals navigating a diverse range of mental health challenges. He offers compassionate support to adolescents (16+) and adults of any age. His approach blends professional insight with empathy, fostering a safe place for healing and growth.

Being LGBTQI+ Informed, Dan is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment, which he believes is a must when it comes to mental health and wellbeing.

Dan’s approach to therapy incorporates evidence-based treatments, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

Dan also offers neuropsychological assessment for ADHD, Autism, giftedness, learning difficulties, and more.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys reading, going for long walks, and spending time with his partner and his dog, Benjamin.
