Sabina Iliescu

Sabina completed her Honours degree in Psychology and her Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy at Adelaide University. She has also completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the Institute for Social Neuroscience in Victoria.
Sabina has extensive experience working in both hospital and community-based services. Sabina previously worked for the National insurance Disability Scheme (NDIS) assisting people with debilitating depressive and anxiety disorders.
In addition to Sabina’s work with a range of mood and anxiety-related concerns, she also has experience working in chronic disease and palliative care at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and supporting patients (and their carers) with terminal illnesses.
Sabina is particularly interested in the Mind-Gut link, and has experience in supporting people dealing with gastrointestinal problems.
Sabina is a warm and empathetic clinician, helping clients to achieve their goals in a kind and supportive manner. She works with adults and young people over the age of 16.
Sabina’s primary treatment modalities are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Sabina offers appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays.
